Holy Mother of God Church in Bambakashat turned 100On the occasion of 100th anniversary of Holy Mother of God Church in Bambakashat, Armavir, the blessing ceremony of the cross erected at the village entrance was followed by the Cross March. The March was attended by Hasmik Sargsyan, grand-daughter of the Church founder Father Hovhannes. She has published the documentary book “I Pass My Cross”, which contains the chronology of the 100 years old Church. |

Holy Mother of God Church in Dzithank re-consecratedHoly Mother of God Church in Dzithank, Shirak Diocese, like many other churches in Soviet times, was forgotten and forsaken. Some months ago the Church was renovated with the financial support of Moscow-based Rustam Stepanyan originating from Dzithank. Recently, Bishop Mikael Ajapahian re-consecrated the prayer house. |

“Letter to Soldier” on the Feast of Assumption of the Holy Mother of GodOn the occasion of the Feast of Assumption, the youth of Araratian Patriarchal Diocese decided to deliver to the soldiers of our Army the letters written by their mothers and sisters. Besides, the youth of the Diocese have collected different domestic items and clothing for the residents of two houses in Aygepar which were burnt in the result of Azeri bombing. Then intend to take these items to the village.
