Musical pieces devoted to the Armenian GenocideOne year ago, on April 24, the Armenian spectator for the first time listened to the Requiem by Tigran Mansuryan dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Genocide. Before that, there had been quite a number of other works created in different genres, which were all dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Genocide. Today the fourth generation of musicians continues to make music devoted to the Genocide.

Lenten Meditation Service at Gevorkian Theological SeminaryOn April 10, with the blessing of the Catholicos of All Armenians, a Lenten Meditation Service was held at the Auditorium of Gevorkian Seminary. Present at the Service were the clergy of the Mother See, members of Church Youth Centers and Christian Youth Program, representatives of non-governmental organizations, high school students of Mother See’s Eurnekian Public School, military servants and many believers.

New fairy-tale by Yerazik GrigoryanThe extended fairy-tale by Yerazik Grigoryan called “Your Excellency Bad Witch” was considered as the best work in the genre of fairy-tales in the book contest announced by “Orange” last year. It was also granted the award “National Feeling”. Recently, the tale was printed in a separated book. Illustrations are authored by animator Naira Muradyan.

Collection “13 plays” published51 authors from Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora participated in the drama contest “Levon Shant” announced by the All-National Armenian Educational and Cultural Union. Best 13 plays were handed to the reader’s judgment in one book. The presentation of the collection “13 plays” took place in the Puppet Theatre.
